To become a Certified Sexual Recovery Therapist you must:
- Have a Masters degree from a regionally accredited school or university.
- Must be a licensed counselor in your state (LPC, LMFT, LCDC, LPCP, LMHW, LCSW)
- Verifiable malpractice insurance
- Three letters of reference
- Completed 6 months supervision with an approved AASAT supervisor
- Achieved a passing score on the Sex Addiction Therapist exam.
